For Valentines I made my sweetie an embroidered heart. But to man it up a bit (and because it’s awesome) I stitched him a biological heart on paper.
Once my pattern was printed, I had to figure out how to keep the stitches straight…blindly. With cloth you can stab and stab until you find the right spot to thread. But with paper, you get one chance. Ding! Light box!
It turned out really nicely. I still want to add some fine gray stitches in the graphic lines. This paper stitching situation…I might be on to something.
